Year 1: Silly things

I wish for silly things,

less fat, a cat,

bigger rooms, more bedrooms,

and a shaded garden,

in which our children

would go and play,

on a long, warm

sunny Sunday

while beer and sun bathing

parents loudly

laugh with friends or kin, one’s

husbands hand on one’s knee,

watching the children be,

going and play,

on a long, warm

sunny Sunday.
